Jessica, or Jess, is a cat-mom to her two cats, Boudicca and Bo. She has an undergraduate degree from New York University and an advanced certificate in animal behavior and conservation from Hunter College. She has researched feline welfare topics such as scratching preferences and music created for cats.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, reading applied animal behavior studies, singing, and writing.
