Where science and compassion cure
Nathalie Alejandro

Nathalie is our Veterinary Technician/Clinical Research Coordinator, currently a second year Master’s Student at New York University. She graduated from St. John’s University with a B.S. in Biological Science, and her ideal goal is to apply to a DVM/PhD program within two years to become a veterinary scientist. Her two passions are science and animal care, coming from a versatile background, working in general practices, emergency medicine, laboratory animal research, shelter medicine, and now a specialty medical practice. She has expanded her knowledge and narrowed her veterinary preference to emergency medicine, but also to furthering research to aid animals in all fields. Her end goal is to expand veterinary medical care in her parent’s home country, Peru and open her own medical practice.

In her free time, she spends quality time with her two dogs Gordon and Dakota and rabbit Alicia, in the lab working on her master’s thesis or exploring new foods in the City to try.
